is what has been said about SAKE, a singer/songwriter and piano-player from Holland. He and his band - "THE VOODOO HAINTS" - diggin‘ deep into the tradition of New Orleans Music and Rhythm-n-Blues. The last two years SAKE travelled around the world and spent his time with singing, performing, recording and writing new songs for his next recording. The Music of "SAKE AND THE VOODOO HAINTS" is a mixture of New Orleans grooves and down-home Blues, which is influenced by great players such as Professor Longhair, Dr. John, Ray Charles, Tom Waits and Randy Newman.
